Former Detroit Tiger J.D. Martinez is starting to settle in with his new team, the Arizona Diamondbacks. It's not easy going to a new team, you know. You have to start from scratch, get to know people — those sorts of things. Martinez is off to a good start though, because he made a brand new friend before the Diamondbacks game on Monday night.

Monday night was Martinez’s first start at home as a Diamondback and he certainly lived up to expectations. He crushed a home run to center field in the sixth inning:
