This one felt inevitable. After Mikie Mahtook reached base with the Detroit Tigers down a run in the bottom of the ninth, there was one player the Minnesota Twins did not want to see at the plate.
Unfortunately for them, Justin Upton was striding towards the batter’s box.

Upton’s walk-off bomb was his 22nd home run of the season, and fifth already in the month of August. More importantly, it gave the Tigers one of their wildest wins of the season.
