There have been a lot of expectations surrounding Jeimer Candelario since the Tigers acquired him from the Chicago Cubs in the trade for Justin Wilson and Alex Avila. He has now taken over from Nick Castellanos at third base and will likely stay there full time next season. And in Thursday’s game against the Chicago White Sox he crushed his first home run in a Tigers’ uniform.

Prior to Thursday he was already hitting .341/.413/.463 through 12 games in the majors. Pretty sweet.
