Watch the Tigers hit 4 home runs off Kansas City pitching

It’s DingerFest 2017 at Comerica Park!

The Detroit Tigers have had their hittin’ shoes on tonight, as Fox Sports Detroit announcer Rod Allen would say. They scored seven runs off Kansas City Royals starter Jason Vargas, and lead the Royals 10-2 in the sixth inning.

First, JaCoby Jones went oppo taco.

Then, Mikie Mahtook got some redemption for Monday’s robbed homer.

John Hicks went to Miguel Cabrera territory in the fourth inning.

And Jose Iglesias pimped a moonshot off the foul pole.

Incredibly, Tuesday’s game marks the first time the Tigers have held a lead since Justin Verlander was traded last Thursday. They will also snap a five-game losing streak if the current score holds.
