Thank you for reading Bless You Boys this season

We couldn’t do this without your support, Tigers fans.

MLB: Detroit Tigers at Minnesota Twins Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

I mentioned this in Sunday’s recap, but some may have missed it — who wants to read about an 11-0 loss? — so forgive us for repeating ourselves.

Thank you for reading Bless You Boys this season.

I speak for the rest of the staff when I say that we couldn’t do this without you. Your comments, articles, support, and even criticism are vital to what we do, and make our work here a labor of love. It can be difficult to write about the Detroit Tigers (or any team) when they are bad, but having all of you along for the ride makes it much more fun.

While I’m at it, I would also like to personally thank the Bless You Boys staff for all of their hard work this season. This place doesn’t run without the hard work Ashley and Brandon do every single day, and the site doesn’t pop without all of the articles, game recaps, and prospect coverage provided by everyone else. We are blessed to have an incredibly passionate and talented staff, one that is already chomping at the bit to start writing about the offseason and the year to come.

That said, we hope you stick around for the offseason! We will recap the season that was, as well as provide some occasional commentary on the other teams in the playoffs. We’ll also have daily open threads for the games on TV, as well as your usual team and prospect coverage. We’ll continue looking at the prospects that made waves in 2018, and take a moment to have some fun too. And yes, we will start looking ahead to 2019.

Once again, thank you to everyone for reading. Whether you are visiting for the first time or have been around as long as I have — appropriate, given the Game 163s on the docket today — you are very important to what we do here. And as always, we’re open to any suggestions you have on how we can get better in 2019.
