Flowchart: Who’s your Tigers leadoff hitter?

With the start of the 2018 season just a few weeks away, the rebuilding Detroit Tigers are working to find out which of the 41 remaining players in camp they can cobble together into a semblance of a major league team. An often discussed question is, “who should bat lead-off for the Tigers?” Sure Ron Gardenhire would have us believe Leonys Martin is right for the job, but anyone who isn’t a complete statistical moron who isn’t of the old school baseball persuasion, may think there can be better candidates found.
