Enter the Bless You Boys Opening Day prediction contest!

Opening Day is less than 24 hours away! Even though the Detroit Tigers are projected to finish at or near the bottom of the American League standings, that doesn’t mean we can’t have fun watching our favorite team’s games this season. There are interesting young players on the roster to follow, and enough star power to keep fans engaged on any given evening.

But Opening Day is special, especially in Detroit. In order to further pump up the excitement for Friday’s game, we are teaming up with our friends at Ballpark Blueprints to host an Opening Day prediction contest! Make your picks on the categories below down in our comment section. The person with the most correct answer after Friday’s game will receive a free t-shirt from Ballpark Blueprints!

First, the swag

Longtime readers may be familiar with Ballpark Blueprints. We have teamed up with them before, and they have been gracious enough to offer our readers some of their blueprint posters. They have versions for both Comerica Park and Tiger Stadium.

But they do t-shirts too! They have two versions of a Tiger Stadium shirt, including a bird’s eye view of the old park.

There’s also a version that looks at the Tiger Stadium facade.

Their Comerica Park shirt is pretty slick as well.
