Harrisburg Senators 5, Erie SeaWolves 3 (F/11) (box)
Sandy Baez had an interesting day at the office. The righthander allowed three hits in six innings, but two were solo shots. He also walked four and struck out six. Two earned runs in six innings is good enough to win, but the SeaWolves offense only managed three hits of their own despite the game stretching 11 innings. Matt Hall and Mark Ecker pitched well in middle relief, but Gerson Moreno couldn’t hold off the Senators’ final push.

Blaise Salter drove in a pair of runs in the fourth and the game went to the bottom of the ninth all tied up. Danny Woodrow singled, stole second and raced all the way home to walk off the Threshers when the catcher’s throw went into center field.
Woodrow: 2-4, 2 R, SO, SB
Salter: 1-3, 2B, 2 RBI
Sodders: 7.0 IP, 4 H, 2 R (1 ER), BB, 6 SO

Clinton LumberKings 8, West Michigan Whitecaps 7 (F/10) (box)
The LumberKings and Whitecaps got into a bit of donnybrook on Monday. Both offenses erupted in the middle innings, and when this one ended in the bottom of the 10th, the LumberKings had landed the last punch. Garett King got knocked around for four innings, while three consecutive relievers issued three or more walks and were lucky to limit the damage. Catcher Joey Morgan homered for the Whitecaps, and they racked up nine walks and fifteen hits total in the losing effort.
