FanPost Friday: Let’s make some Tigers trades!

The Detroit Tigers have been dealing with a swirl of trade rumors since before the season even started. Would they move Michael Fulmer to the Yankees in the offseason for prospects? Would they manage to turn Francisco Liriano into trade bait? It got to the point that whenever the t-word got mentioned in March and April, Tigers fans would get feisty.

Now that trade time has arrived for real and the first shuffles of the season have begun, I think it’s safe to say we can start playing the “What’s my dream trade scenario?” game. Last year it was obvious the Tigers would move J.D. Martinez and Alex Avila (thanks for Jeimer Candelario, Cubbies!), but the Justin Verlander trade was still a shock to the system.

So now that we know there’s no trade too crazy or out of the realm of possibility, it’s time to come up with our own perfect trade scenarios. Head over to the FanPost section and select “New FanPost” on the left, then play GM and move whichever players you want to whichever team you want.
