Scores, news and notes from around the Detroit Tigers’ farm system for Thursday, June 7, 2018.

Buffalo Bison 9, Toledo Mud Hens 5 (box)

Kyle Dowdy got shelled for seven runs in just 2 23 innings, putting this one out of reach early without a monster comeback. The bullpen leaked two more runs before Zac Houston and Kevin Comer came on to shut the Bisons down in the eighth and ninth innings. Mike Gerber had a big night, with three hits and his fifth home run of the season. Dawel Lugo had a pair of doubles and drove in three runs on the night.

Erie SeaWolves 8, Hartford Yard Goats 7 (F/13)(box)

Beau Burrows gave the SeaWolves another good outing, but it was nearly forgotten by the time the two teams erupted in the 13th to finally decide the matter. Burrows went 5 23 innings, allowing a pair of runs on six hits and a walk. The hero was Jacob Robson, who came through twice in the clutch and saved the SeaWolves’ bacon. His sacrifice bunt in the 12th tied the ballgame and forced it another inning where he again had the answer.

John Schreiber saved the SeaWolves in relief, spinning three innings of one run ball. Kurt Spomer wasn’t so fortunate, as the Goats put three runs up in the top of the 13th to take the lead. Harold Castro and Sergio Alcantara each had RBI in the bottom of the frame, but it was once again Jake Robson coming through with a single that plated Castro and Jake Rogers to walk this one off.

Robson: 3-6, 5 RBI, 2 SO, SB

Woodrow: 3-6, R, 3B, 2 SO

Eaves: 2-5, 2 R, RBI, HR, BB, SO

Burrows: 5.2 IP, 2 ER, 6 H, BB, 5 SO
