Jose Iglesias might not be the best player on the Detroit Tigers’ roster, but I would wager that he is the most exciting. Other players offer more consistent production, especially at the plate, but no one produces highlight reel plays quite like the Tigers shortstop.

Take this gem, for example.

Sure, he had plenty of time to get either runner with an actual throw, but what’s the fun in that? It’s way more exciting to make a ridiculous glove flip in an otherwise meaningless late July matchup between two rebuilding clubs.
