The Detroit Tigers retired Jack Morris’ No. 47 on Sunday, just two weeks after Morris and former Tigers teammate Alan Trammell were enshrined in the Baseball Hall of Fame. Morris was honored with an on-field pregame ceremony, during which he sat in a No. 47 seat from Tigers Stadium.
