FanPost Friday: What is your greatest hope for the 2019 Tigers?

Things have to get a bit better, right?

MLB: Detroit Tigers at Minnesota Twins Jordan Johnson-USA TODAY Sports

Okay, we know this wasn’t the best year for the Detroit Tigers. It also wasn’t the worst by a long shot. In spite of the dismal performances and a subpar record, the Tigers are definitely not the worst team in baseball, or even in their own division.

There are glimmers of hope on this team. Young players are showing signs of promise, up-and-coming pitchers are doing well out of the gate. This is a team that very well might have some of the pieces that make up the club’s next winning franchise.

Contention is still a ways off, but there’s a lot to look forward to in 2019, as the rebuild — much like a clumsy baby deer — starts getting its feet under it.

With that in mind, we want to know: what do you hope to see from this team in 2019?

Is it a specific pitching rotation? Perhaps a few prospects you’d like to see get their big callup? Do you really just want them to try trusting their analytics department for once in their life?

Head on over to the FanPost section, select “New FanPost” on the left, and tell us exactly what you would most like to see the Tigers do in 2019, or what you hope happens for them. Dream big!
