Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, Tigers fans! We here at Bless You Boys have been enjoying some quality time with family and friends over the past couple days — and more than often throughout the entire offseason, admittedly. Our beloved Tigers were mostly quiet until last weekend, splurging on a couple of nice gifts for teammates and fans alike.
Like the Tigers, we are hoping to get better in 2020. We did some things well in 2019, and others not up to our lofty standards. Our prospect and draft coverage expanded even more, and I feel that we had our best year to date on that front. Brandon and Ashley did a wonderful job with the podcast as well, and we already have a couple of big-name guests lined up for the early spring. Our game day coverage was... well, you saw the games. We did our best.
There is always room for improvement, though. With the Tigers holding their second No. 1 overall pick in three years, we want to go even bigger and better with our draft coverage. We think we can do the same with the minor leagues — our top 30 prospect list will be out in early January, and we are hoping to dive even deeper than ever on that front. And with a major league club that appears to be on the rise, it should be easier to dive into game day coverage and analysis next season.
Those who have been here before know the drill; we want to hear your input! We want to know what we can do better in 2020, or if we should change how we handle any of our usual staples. We have a couple of months ahead of us to experiment before spring training kicks off, and a wonderful staff that is eager to put last season in the rearview mirror.
As always, please keep the comments as constructive as possible. Let us know what we can do better or differently in the upcoming season, and we will put that advice straight to good use. Be sure to rec comments that you agree with so we can more easily see the best responses!
And most importantly, thank you for reading!
