Introduce yourself to the Bless You Boys community!

It’s that time of the year where we say hello to our fellow commenters.

Another offseason has come and gone, and we find ourselves once again on the cusp of the greatest day of the year: Opening Day.

We here at Bless You Boys have worked hard to bring you interesting, informative, fun, and engaging content over the winter, but we know everyone was just holding their breath, waiting for the snow to melt off Comerica so that we could welcome the triumphant return of the boys of summer.

Spring training was both hopeful — Miguel Cabrera hitting bombs! Daz Cameron grand slam! — and full of turmoil — Michael Fulmer and JaCoby Jones downed by injury — and through it all, you, our loyal readers, have come here to find out more information, and to chat in our comment sections about your own thoughts and opinions on what’s happening with the Tigers.

It cannot be overstated how important the community is to this site. Our readers are what allows us to do this day after day, and your loyalty and interaction keeps us motivated to always put out new content for you.

So, as we head into the first games of the regular season, played in my motherland of Canada, it seems like a great time for all of us to introduce ourselves to each other. Hop into the comments, tell us a little bit about who you are and why you love the Tigers (in good times and bad). Some of you have been here for years, some of you are new. We’re all in this 2019 season together.

If you ARE new here: Welcome! Before you jump into the comments, this would be a great time to familiarize yourself with the Bless You Boys rules (in short: keep things on topic, be nice, keep it on baseball, etc). Give our welcome guide a quick read and learn all about FanPosts (we do prompts every Friday in season, but you can write one any time), and what you can expect at Bless You Boys.

Now, let’s say hello!
