FanPost Friday: Make 5 bold predictions for the 2019 Tigers

Dust off those MLB tarot cards and look into the future.

Every year, our intrepid site manager Rob Rogacki makes a series of “bold” predictions for the Tigers. When we look back at them as the sultry summer months advance, we often chuckle at how wildly off base he was, but other times you’re forced to say “damn, Rob, that was some well-predicted insanity!”

With that in mind, and only one game under our belts in the 2019 season, I thought it might be fun to get the weekly FanPosts kicked off with all of you coming up with your own wild predictions. They can be anything you want. Christin Stewart makes an All-Star Team? You bet. Miguel Cabrera hits 40 home runs? I like your enthusiasm! The only rule here is that the prediction must be feasible in a baseball season. So no, the Tigers cannot end their season early and just go golfing in July.

Since this is our first FanPost Prompt of the regular season, a quick primer on how it works! Just head over to the FanPost section, select “new FanPost” on the left (you will need to have a registered account — no anonymous posting) and just start writing! Every month we will be posting a rundown of the best FanPosts that month, and we read every single one you guys post, so have fun with it! Many of our staff writers began by churning out clever FanPosts!

Now get to writing those predictions!
