The Detroit Tigers’ defense hasn’t exactly been airtight in their season-opening series against the Toronto Blue Jays, but they have made a few nice plays here and there. The best of them all so far? That would probably be this diving catch by Nicholas Castellanos in right field on Sunday.

The Statcast numbers on it are rather impressive — Castellanos covered 102 feet in 5.4 seconds on the play, which had a 40 percent catch probability. Here’s hoping he and the Tigers can convert some of this effort into their offense, which remains scoreless through five innings on Sunday afternoon.
