A player’s first career hit is always special. It represents the culmination of something they have been working towards for their entire lives. Whether they are a budding superstar, a career minor leaguer, or anything in between, that first hit is a wonderful milestone that should be celebrated.
Especially when it leads to a win over the Yankees.
