FanPost Friday: All former Detroit Tigers team

My favorite prompt of the year!

The Tigers have had an incredible amount of talent don the Olde English D over time. Cy Young winners, All-Stars, future Hall of Famers. You name it, the Tigers have had them on a squad (and have some of them on the team as we speak).

One of my favorite things to do is to imagine a dream team. An all-Tigers team made up of the best of the best. And this week, I want you guys to do the same thing.

There are two ways you can go about doing this. The first, is to take any former Tigers from all time. So your team could consist of the likes of Ty Cobb, Hank Greenberg, Bill Freehan, and Al Kaline. The OTHER option, and the one I think is slightly more challenging, is to make a whole team of only former Tigers who are still active.

Whichever way you choose to go about it, pick one player for each position. I’m being generous this year and allowing FIVE starting pitchers, but still only one reliever. So choose wisely.
