I think we can all admit this has been a pretty rough season. While it is unlikely to be historically bad in the win-loss column, it has still been a difficult summer for Tigers fans. Which makes the annual tradition of September call-ups all the more interesting. Sure, the team isn’t heading to the postseason, and that’s okay. But there are a lot of interesting players in the minor leagues people have been looking forward to seeing, and now is a chance for the Tigers to test those players out at a major league level.
We’ve already gotten a peek at guys like Jake Rogers and Willi Castro, but there are other players the Tigers will likely bring up on Sunday (including a few familiar faces).
So with this week’s FanPost Friday, we want to ask you: which players do you want to see the Tigers add with their additional roster spots? For the 2019 season the expanded roster still goes from 25 to 40 (this will change in 2020), so there’s a lot of room to play around.
Head over to the FanPost section, select “New FanPost” on the left, and tell us which additional players you want to see called up, and why.
Shoutout to TigerDoc616 for “My Dream Ending to a Nightmare of a 2019 Season” in response to last week’s FPF prompt.
