The 2019 Players’ Weekend uniforms are a monochromatic nightmare

This is now the third season for Players’ Weekend, an opportunity for players to show off their unique personality and nicknames, dazzle with exciting cleats or armbands, to really make things fun and interesting.

So, naturally, this year the uniforms are a bland black and white disaster which show precisely nothing in the way of personality whatsoever.

As the Tigers will be on the road August 23-25 you can look forward to them sporting the black uniforms.

And here’s a look at the all-black cap.

Additionally, instead of their usual batting helmets, teams will wear either matte black or matte white helmets to match their uniforms, with no team logo on the front.
