The most wonderful four words of the offseason can now officially be spoken: pitchers and catchers report.

On Tuesday morning, the first of the Tigers team arrived officially in Lakeland, FL, and with them, the end of winter (okay, not really, but you know what I mean). There are few things more exciting than the arrival of the first players. If you’re anything like me, the first sights and sounds of spring training are something you wait all winter for, so wait no more, we’ve got some early highlights of day one.

Reporter Chris McCosky has already observed a unique new development for returning bullpen pitchers Alex Wilson.

Casey Mize took time to chat with the gathered media, and had a bit of insight on what the Tigers next number one pick in the draft should do to prepare.
