The Detroit Tigers officially kick off their 2020 season with an exhibition match against the Southeastern University Fire, a school local to the Lakeland area. The Tigers have historically begun its spring training schedule with a matchup against an area college and this year will be no different.
The starting lineup and batting order have been announced, per Jason Beck, featuring a couple of familiar Castros as well as a few new friends with Jorge Bonifacio starting in left field and Eric Haase behind the plate. Tarik Skubal will take the mound for the start.
