New Tigers spring training caps aren’t that hideous this year

The theme worked for the Tigers, but not for everyone else.

As is traditional leading up to spring, the new batch of spring training caps have been revealed, and the teams went with a logo-in-logo design this year. The theme worked well for some teams (including the Tigers), and not so well for other teams (yikes, Angels).

Sports Logos Net was the first to reveal the new designs, which will be used for spring training as well as seasonal batting practice. For the Tigers, a tiger-striped D will adorn the front, and the old — and not always popular — Tiger coming through the D will adorn the sides.

Whether or not you’re a fan of the side logo, most will agree these are easier on the eyes than the previous neon orange spring training caps.

And here’s how they all stack up. You can make your own judgment about which are good and which are terrible.
