My headline actually sounds like a company without a good marketing department, doesn't it?

But that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about teams that constantly bring back marginal players into their system over and over again (isn't that the definition of crazy, doing something OVER and OVER again?). The Tigers are guilty of this a lot (Cameron Maybin, C.J. Nitkowski) but so are the New York Yankees.

So, I used to talk on the Detroit Free Press/WebEx message board some years ago, and there was a strange obsession by some members of the board with a forgettable corner infielder named Jeff Manto. Which brings me to this....
