Austin Bergner has been pitching very well at WM since being put in the starting rotation. He has an ERA under 3 and more than a K per inning and low walk rate.
Was looking up scouting reports on him and in 2016 going into his HS senior year he was a very high ranked prospect. He ended up going to NC and was good as a Freshman and was feature starter at end of Junior year. He pitched well in two years in the Cape Cod League also.
His HS write ups are impressive. Prep Baseball Report thought he might be a 1st round pick out of HS and MLB Pipeline ranked him the 200th top prospect for the 2016 draft overall. Based on his recent pitching and past scouting reports, maybe he can pitch himself into once again being a promising prospect?
