OF/1B Options

Arizona just added former rookie of the year Kyle Lewis to their outfield. That gives them quite a few solid outfield options... Corbin Carroll, Daulton Varsho, Jake McCarthy, Alek Thomas, Kyle Lewis and Dominic Fletcher. Lewis is the only right handed bat. One will play DH, so that leaves Seth Beer without a spot. Seth Beer is an OBP machine, bats lefty and plays 1B. 1B is taken with LH Pavin Smith and RH Christian Walker. Maybe a deal for Beer and one of the other left handed hitting OFers? Send a couple prospects or maybe some relief pitching?

Another option for 1B could be Ryan Noda of the Dodgers... he was left unprotected for the rule 5. He's a left handed power hitter that has a pretty good OBP. He has some experience in the outfield... playing some CF a few years back. He had 20 steals last year with 25 homers at AAA. He could be a solid lefty power bat at 1B or in a corner OF spot. Noda is 26 and could start the season at 1B and when Tork is ready move to the OF.

Bellinger could be let go any time now... I bet the Tigers could put a decent trade together to land both Noda and Bellinger for a couple mediocre prospects. That would fill the RF and 1B spots for 2023. Bellinger could play CF on Greene's days off. He's a gold glove OFer and has power and speed. He has been in a funk the past 2 years, but a 1 year trial in Detroit might be interesting.
