I find it amazing that the Tigers would not want to get José Iglesias from the Padres. What we have now is the completely mediocre Andy Ibanez, hitting a scorching .183 with very average fielding. Meanwhile, Iglesias has a lifetime .279 average, hit .292 last year and is still an excellent, exciting infielder. I realize he's 33, but Ibanez is 30. How the Tigers or some other team is letting a superior hitter and infielder languish while they play vastly inferior players is, to me, idiotic. It's like there's some sort of conspiracy against this guy.
