Lakeland, West Michigan and Connecticut all won during yesterday's action, while the GCL Tigers split their doubleheader with the GCL Braves. Nick Castellanos homered for Toledo while Corey Knebel earned his first win as a pro for West Michigan.

L, 2-1 vs. Columbus. Brayan Villarreal surrendered the game-winning run during the bottom of the eighth inning. Nick Castellanos had a big night in the loss and accounted for Toledo’s lone run, as he hit a solo home run in the sixth inning. Daisuke Matsuzaka started for the Clippers and threw seven innings of one-run ball.
