Minor League Recaps 7/20

Toledo, Erie, West Michigan and the GCL Tigers all won during yesterday's action. Lakeland was postponed due to rain. Corey Knebel notched his fifth professional save for West Michigan, continuing his impressive start to his career.

Triple-A: Toledo Mud Hens (43-59)

W, 12-3 vs. Buffalo. The Mud Hens scored two or more runs in four different frames. Jordan Lennerton was the only Mud Hen to not drive in a run. Jose Alvarez earned the win by hurling the game’s first six innings.

Tyler Collins and Eugenio Suarez both homered for Erie.

Ben Verlander, Dominic Ficociello and Brett Harrison also drove in a run apiece.
