West Michigan and Connecticut were the only two affiliates during yesterday's action to win. Lakeland was postponed due to rain. Jair Jurrjens made his return to the Detroit organization by starting Toledo's ballgame, while Corey Knebel notched his tenth professional save for West Michigan.

Triple-A: Toledo Mud Hens (48-65)

L, 6-3 vs. Durham. Jair Jurrjens made his return to the Detroit organization. Luke Putkonen, Darin Downs, Jose Ortega and Jose Valverde also all pitched for Toledo. Jordan Lennerton had a big day at the plate, as the first basemen went 4-for-4 with a double and an RBI. Nick Castellanos was with his wife – who was going into labor.

Endrys Briceno earned the win for West Michigan by tossing five innings of one-run ball. Corey Knebel struck out two batters in the ninth en route to earning his tenth professional save.
