W, 4-1 vs. Columbus. Jose Alvarez earned the win for Toledo by tossing seven innings of one-run ball. Jose Ortega then pitched a perfect eighth inning before Jose Valverde secured the win by throwing a clean ninth. Mike Cervenak, Danny Dorn and Ben Guez all homered for the Mud Hens. Omar Infante started off his rehab assignment by going 1-for-5 at the plate with a strike out. Infante batted first and was Toledo’s designated hitter. Trevor Bauer, a highly thought of prospect in the Cleveland organization, took the loss for Columbus. The right-hander allowed three runs on five hits while walking five and striking out six over 6 1/3 innings.
